St George's Church

Welcome to St George’s at Thriplow.

St George’s is an historic 12th century church which is in regular use today with a small but active congregation. Our congregation covers all age ranges and young families are well represented amongst our members. We offer a welcome to all within our community, and we provide details of our church activities to all newcomers to the village.

We have either two or three services each month, which include Holy Communion, an informal Family Service for all ages, and the occasional Evensong. The church is used for weddings, baptisms and funerals, and concerts, and each Spring we participate in the Thriplow Daffodil Weekend.

St George’s welcomes children and young people to all their services, and we have very strong links with the Thriplow Church of England (Aided) Primary School.

The Benefice youth group ‘Energise’, which includes children from all four villages,  meets in Thriplow village hall.
